1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice describes how LIQWYD ("LIQWYD", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website, mobile bar booking platform, and related services (the "Service"). LIQWYD is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), phone number, role (client/staff), company.
- Profile data: photos, bio, certifications, availability, ratings, portfolio.
- Booking data: event details, venue addresses, attendee counts, preferences, messages.
- Payment data: handled by Paddle. We receive limited metadata (subscription tier, status, renewal dates) — never full card details.
- Support data: messages you send us and our responses.
- Usage and device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser, pages viewed, telemetry.
3. How we use your data
- Create and operate your account (contract performance).
- Match clients with staff and operate bookings (contract performance).
- Process subscriptions and entitlements via Paddle (contract performance).
- Provide support and respond to inquiries (legitimate interests).
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
- Improve and develop the Service (legitimate interests).
- Send service announcements and, with your consent where required, marketing communications.
- Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, and similar.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, auditors, where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
- Counterparties to a booking — limited profile and contact information shared between matched clients and staff to deliver the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some recipients may process your data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@liqwyd.co. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically within one month).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and the Service functioning. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes
We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
